The Yamuna Expressway, also known as the Taj Expressway, is a 165.5-kilometre-long, six-lane (expandable to eight) access-controlled expressway connecting Pari Chowk in Greater Noida to Kuberpur near Agra. Since its inauguration on 9 August 2012, the expressway has become a landmark infrastructure project in India, transforming travel and industrial potential across western Uttar Pradesh.

  • Highway Traffic Management System (HTMS) with: Surveillance cameras every 5 km, Speed detection systems, Vehicle recognition systems, Variable message signs (VMS) and Meteorological monitoring

Other safety features: Emergency Call Boxes every 2 km, Dedicated ambulances and trauma centres, Route patrol, firefighting and emergency vehicles monitored by GPS and mobile radioand Crash barriers, road markings, cat-eyes, signage boards
