Introduction

PNC Infratech, a leading player in India’s infrastructure development sector, has successfully executed over 90 major infrastructure projects across 13 states, according to a statement by Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Pradeep Kumar Jain.

The announcement comes as the company marks a significant milestone—10 years since its listing on Indian stock exchanges. In a letter to stakeholders, Jain highlighted the company’s superior performance in infrastructure execution, citing major accomplishments in roads, highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, airport runways, and industrial area development.

Over the past decade, PNC Infratech has emerged as a reliable name in EPC contracts and Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) projects, contributing substantially to India’s infrastructure landscape.

Strong Financial Growth

Between FY2015 and FY2024, PNC Infratech reported a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.4% in revenue, rising from ₹1,561 crore to ₹7,699 crore. The company’s EBITDA increased at a CAGR of 21.8%, growing from ₹217 crore to ₹1,277 crore. Most notably, the profit after tax (PAT) soared from ₹100 crore to ₹850 crore, reflecting a CAGR of 26.8%.

Strategic Capital Recycling

In a significant move aligned with its capital recycling strategy, PNC Infratech announced on May 23 the completion of a stake sale in 10 of its road assets to Highways Infrastructure Trust (HIT), an Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT).

This divestment is part of a larger transaction agreed upon in January 2024, involving 12 road assets — including 11 National Highway HAM assets and 1 State Highway BOT Toll asset — spanning nearly 3,800 lane-km across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan. The proceeds from the sale will be reinvested into fund-based opportunities in the infrastructure sector, reinforcing the company’s long-term growth trajectory.

Conclusion

With over 90 major infrastructure projects completed, PNC Infratech is poised to continue leading in road construction and infra development. CMD Jain emphasized the company’s commitment to quality execution, stakeholder value, and contribution to India's economic growth.
