The Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad (FNG) Expressway is emerging as a strategic infrastructure project designed to streamline transit across the NCR. It aims to decongest Delhi roads by offering a direct link between Faridabad, Noida, and Ghaziabad. With construction already underway, the expressway forms a key part of the National Expressway 2 (NE-2) and aligns with the Eastern Peripheral Expressway network.
Planned with foresight, the expressway ensures both speed and safety. IIT Roorkee designed the corridor with scalable infrastructure, prioritising long-term traffic demand and urban growth.

Additional infrastructure includes multi-level flyovers, wide medians, emergency call boxes, paved shoulders, and a comprehensive drainage system to manage seasonal waterlogging. These elements reinforce the corridor’s efficiency and road safety.
The FNG Expressway will cover 28.1 km in Faridabad, 8 km in Noida, and 20 km in Greater Noida. A 700 m bridge over the Yamuna River will link Chak Mangroli (Noida) to Faridabad, with another 600 m bridge planned near Ma Amrita Hospital, Greater Faridabad.
Faridabad Segment: Begins at Ma Amrita Hospital, passing through Lalpur village. Traverses sectors 89, 88, 84, and 75, which are witnessing rapid residential and industrial development.
Noida Segment: Starts near Sector 94, intersects Sectors 121, 122, 140, 143, 150, ends at Sector 168. Includes elevated roads and connectivity with Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. 6–7 km stretch from NH-24 to Sector 117 is already operational.
Ghaziabad Segment: Begins near NH-34, Arya Nagar, and Hindan Vihar. Ends near Rahul Vihar, connecting with the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
The expressway links industrial, residential, and commercial zones across NCR. By bypassing central Delhi routes, it’s expected to reduce commute time by up to 50% and cut the Faridabad-Ghaziabad trip down to 45 minutes, from the earlier 2–3 hours.
