CASE Construction Equipment has confirmed that its Managing Director for India and SAARC, Shalabh Chaturvedi, has been elected Vice President of the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA) Governing Council. His two-year term will run from 2025 to 2027.

The election saw participation from nearly 165 ICEMA member companies. The body allocates 12 seats to primary members and three to associate members, with voting held every two years. CASE Construction Equipment, part of CNH Industrial, has retained its representation from the previous term.

ICEMA is the apex body for India’s construction equipment industry. It works closely with policymakers and stakeholders to push for sustainable growth. It also helps shape industry policy and standards while promoting global competitiveness in the construction equipment sector.

Chaturvedi called the appointment a valuable opportunity to work with industry peers and regulators. He said the position offers a platform to advance growth, sustainability, and innovation. He added that his goal is to help build an industry that delivers value to customers and to the nation.

CASE Construction Equipment operates under CNH Industrial, a global capital goods company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. In India, the brand manufactures and distributes machinery such as excavators, loaders, compaction rollers, and other construction vehicles. Its products are sold through an extensive dealer network across the region.

The appointment comes at a time when the construction equipment sector in India is adapting to changing market conditions and evolving regulations. Through ICEMA’s governing council, leaders from across the industry are shaping the future direction of policy, technology, and market development.
